Guillermo L. Haro was a United States Army veteran. He proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1943 to 1945. While in service to our country he worked as Infantryman / Light Truck Driver and achieved the rank of Private First Class. He earned many medals and awards to include the European African Middle Eastern, the Purple Heart and the Marksman Rifle while serving in Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France and the Rhineland. Private First Class Haro's final duty station was Headquarters Company, 823rd Tank Destroyer Battalion where he was honorably discharged on November 1, 1945.
It is our honor to stand in silent reverence as we show respect and gratitude for the sacrifices this hero made for our nation.

Guillermo "Willie" Haro passed away Thursday April 14, 2022. He leaves behind his loving wife Lucy, his son Willie G. Haro, his four daughters Mary Soto, Cecelia Swahn, Angie Cox and Patricia W Allred, as well as 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Luciana and his son Daniel G Haro.

Services for Willie will be held Monday April 25, 2022, at Our Lady of Lordes in Benson, AZ with the Rosary at 9:00am, Eulogy at 9:30am, Mass at 10:00am and graveside at Highstreet Cemetery with military honors by the local VFW to follow immediately after mass.
