Joerene Elgart, age 94 passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 after an long illness. Joerene was born July 17, 1927 in Ardmore,Oklahoma to Dr. Hugh and Joerene Williams.
Joerene was active in church and community groups as well as manager of the Les Elgart Orchestra until health and memory issues overtook her. She was a devoted wife and mother of four. Joerene took an active role in her children's lives and activities. She was loved and will be missed by all. Joerene was preceded in death by her son. Mark Gregory Ingram, Husband Lester Elliott Elgart, and 1st husband Donald Scott Ingram.
Visitation for Joerene will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225.
Funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM at St Lukes Episcopal Church, 5923 Royal Ln, Dallas, TX 75230.
