He was the son of Emory Campbell and Lucille Bristol. He married Mary Louise Trudell.

Raymond Emory Campbell, 72, of Sioux City died Wed. 1 Nov. 2006, at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Mon., in Graceland Park Cemetery. Private family viewing 5-6 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Raymond was born 16 Nov. 1933, in Sioux City, to Emory & Lucille (Bristol) Campbell.
He graduated from Central High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He was married to Mary Trudell for 20 years. To this union, 3 children were born.
He worked as a carpenter in construction. Raymond was very proud of the fact that he build his own construction company & building many homes in the Sioux City area.
Raymond enjoyed traveling all over the world flying his own planes. He loved to fish, boat & camp. After retirement, Raymond was very proud of growing & canning tomatoes.
Survivors include 2 sons, Raymond Jr. & Edward Campbell; 2 daughters, Terri (Douglas) Roehrich & Lana Peterson; 3 brothers, Wally Baum & Eddie Baum & Jack Robinson; 2 sisters, Debra Memmer & Sharon Rachner; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; special friend, Rose Wright; Annette Wieck, who was like a daughter to him; & his faithful companion of 20 years who stuck by his side, Oreo, his cat.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Evelyn, infancy & Mariane Duvall; & a granddaughter, Precious Campbell, infancy.
