Faye Elizabeth Hinkley
Nampa - Faye of Nampa, passed from the loving arms of her family into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday Dec. 24, 2021 of natural causes. Her family are assured and confident of her new address in heaven. She will be watching and waiting till her loved ones join her.
She was born May 31, 1948 in Caldwell, ID, to Elva M. Johnson and Erma E. (Holdt) Johnson. Faye grew up in Parma, Idaho in the Parma Revival Center Church, where she gave her heart and life to God. There she learned of her roots, God and living her life for God. She graduated from Parma High in 1966 and graduated from Links School of Business in 1976.
She married John S. Ferguson in 1967, they shared 3 beautiful children together. They were divorced in 1972. She marries Arlo Harris in 1973, they later divorced.
In 1980 she gave birth to a daughter and in 1988 she adopted her oldest granddaughter.
Faye married the love of her life, Ray Hinkley on Jan. 10, 1995. They first met when she was 12 and Ray was 17. Twenty years later fate brought them together again. Together they raised 5 wonderful children who were brought up to be truthful, honest, loyal, to love unconditionally, value hard work and always have integrity. God and family came first in her life. She was a great listener, wise, funny and always smiling. If anybody needed a doctor, you could just go see Dr. Mom for all your boo boos.
Faye is survived by her children: Shelia(Paul) Gonzales, Nampa; Steve(Joy) Ferguson, Nampa; Heather(Isidro) Venegas, Nampa; Ashley(Mike) Aldrich, Caldwell; a brother: Norman(Mary) Johnson, Caldwell; a sister: Katherine Riley, Wilder. There are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Ray, her husband, her parents Elva and Erma Johnson: Daughter Kathy: her brothers Howard, Kenneth, Ernest and Teddy Johnson: 2 sister in-laws: Iva Johnson and Donna Johnson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday January 6th, 2022 from 6-8pm at Christian Faith Center 31 S Midland Blvd Nampa, Idaho 83651. Inurnment will be on Friday January 7th, 3pm at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery 10100 N Horseshoe Bend Rd, Boise, ID 83714. We would like to thank all who cared for our mom during her last days!
