Stella Louise Holley passed away peacefully in Greenville, TX on April 11, 2022 after a battle with dementia, COVID and double pneumonia. Visitation will be Thursday, April 14 from 6-8pm at Lynch Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, April 15 at 2pm at Faith Outreach of Greenville. Pallbearers will be Elwood Reding, Brian Bakkum, Brandon Bakkum, Ryan Bakkum, Tommy Jenkins and Chad Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Herring, Marvin Bagwell, Toby Liles, Randy Bakkum and Scotty Willaby.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Davidson and husband Gary of Greenville, TX and Cindy Bakkum and husband Ronny also of Greenville, TX; a brother, Charles Herring of Campbell, TX; Grandchildren Mandy Bennett and husband Chad, Kyra Jenkins and husband Tommy and Ryan Bakkum, all of Greenville; Great Grandchildren Alisha and Trey Day and Billy Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Kenneth Herring of Greenville; brother Leon Herring, sister, Marietta Wineinger, husband Charles Holley and numerous aunts and uncles.

Stella was born in Point, TX and graduated from Lone Oak High School. She met the love of her life, Charles Holley and they were married on December 19,1957. Cindy was born on February 29, 1960 and Tammy was born 6 years later on September 11, 1966.

She worked in the front office of Henson-Kickernick for the majority of her career. She was an avid bowler and once bowled a 289 which at that time, was the highest score for a woman in the Greenville Bowling Association. She went to multiple state tournaments as well. She also loved Elvis Presley. But most importantly she loved God and she loved her family. She volunteered at Briarcliff after her husband's passing to help out with bingo. She was a member of Faith Outreach of Greenville.

The family would like to thank the staff at Briarcliff and Kindred Hospice for taking such good care of her.
