York, South Carolina - Stephen "Bo" Ernest Lowry, 71, of York, SC, passed away on April 15, 2022. Steve was born in York, SC to Samuel Kenneth "Bo" Jr. and Mary Anne "Andy" Lowry. After graduating from Presbyterian College, Steve lived in Spartanburg, SC where he began his family. Devoted husband and father, Bo enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and participating in the astronomy club. He returned to York, SC to enjoy his retirement from Wells Fargo of Charlotte, NC.
Bo is survived by wife, Frances "Fran" Rudasill Lowry; children, Stephen McClure Lowry and wife, Heather, of Atlanta; Anne Bratton Lowry of Spartanburg; Brian Easler of Spartanburg; Jean Lee and husband, Matt Lee, of Charlotte; and grandchildren, Haven Lowry, Field Easler, and Andrew Lee.
The memorial service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 108 East Liberty Street, York, SC 29745 on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, PO Box 437, York, SC 29745; or Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC, 29732.
