Mrs. LAURA (BARBER) KELLEY was the daughter of Cullen Andrew Barber and Mrs. Miranda H. (Johnson) Barber.

She was the wife of Ernest W. Kelley who preceded her in death.

Obituary
"Services for Mrs. Laura Barber Kelley, 89, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, October 9, at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel, with Brother J.M. Cason, pastor of Glad Tidings Assembly Of God, officiating. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery. She died at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, after a brief illness. Mrs. Kelley was a native of Beckville, Texas, and she had lived in Shreveport, Louisiana for 60 years. She was a Baptist. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. P.A. Couvillion, Mrs. Marie Plaissance and Mrs. Ernestine Gallien, all of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Lantz, of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Princess Mills, of Beckville, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren."
