CORRELL -- Marion Elizabeth Schwandt, 87, of Ortonville, formerly of the Correll area, died September 20, 2009 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minnesota.
She was born Jan. 22, 1922, in Akron Township, Big Stone County, to Martin and Hattie (Engelmann) Winger. She graduated from Correll High School in 1940.
She married Norman Bakeberg on May 12, 1944.
She married Paul Schwandt on June 10, 1961, in Correll. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons: Douglas (and Julia) Bakeberg of Chaska, Randall (and Sandra) Bakeberg of Correll, and Charles Bakeberg of Hopkins; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, two sisters and two brothers.
The service was at Grace Lutheran Church in Correll.
Burial will be in Appleton City Cemetery.
