Aged Woman Is Buried Monday
Mrs. Mary Ann Clifton, aged 73 years, 8 months, and 4 days, died February 26th at 6 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. J. Patterson in the Rock Prairie community, this county, after a short illness. The funeral was held Monday afternoon, February 27th at the Steep Hollow cemetery, with arrangements in charge of Dansby Furniture Company [sic], directors of Bryan.
G. T. Clifton, husband of the deceased died January 5, 1928 and now, in only a few weeks, she too has passed on, leaving the one daughter, Mrs. A. J. Patterson bereaved of father and mother in so short a time. Heartfelt sympathy is extended the grief stricken family by many friends.
