Kimberly Ann (Trog) Batchelor, 65, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in Edgewood, Kentucky.

She was born December 26, 1956, in Batesville, IN, daughter of the late Arthur Trog and Mary (Connelton) Trog.

She started her career as a Librarian for the Aurora Public Library, and continued into the school corporation at both the Aurora Elementary School and Aurora Middle School. She came full circle and finished back at the Aurora Public Library.

Kimberly attended St. Mary's Catholic School and graduated from Aurora High School. She was on the board of Main Street Aurora. Kim loved to cook and bake. She would bake and decorate cakes professionally for weddings and birthdays. She loved to take beach family vacations, have family Christmas and Sunday family dinners. She loved the snow and anything that sparkled. Kimberly loved her dogs Bella and Kiki. She was very creative. A "Pinterest Mom" before Pinterest was a thing. Anything she did, she did it well. People loved to see her artwork and displays that she created for the schools over the years. She was also an avid reader.

Kimberly is survived by her mother, Mary Connelton Trog; children, Shanda Batchelor of Greendale, IN, Kristina (Christopher) Barrott of Greendale, IN, Brian (Cheni) Batchelor of Lawrenceburg, IN; close friend, Sally Helton of Aurora, IN; five grandchildren, Kenna Batchelor, Bo Barrott, Austin DeWyn, Ethan Marchek, Hayden Batchelor; .

She was preceded in death by Father, Arthur Trog; Brother, Steven Trog;

Friends will be received at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 5:00-8:00pm.

Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
