Tracey was born on May 27, 1971, in Wilmington, NC to the late Anna Marie Farrow Benton and Michael Dean Benton, whom she is greeted by in heaven as well as her late Husband/ Soul mate Donald "Donnie" Wayne Hickman, Jr.
Tracey is survived by her three daughters Kendall, Lindsey and Jordan as well as her granddaughter Lydia and a brother Chris Benton as well as numerous other friends and family.
Tracey loved to spend time with her family and her Girls (all four of them) were her world. Tracey enjoyed spending time at the beach and Masonboro sound where she spent her childhood making precious memories. She also took great pride in her granddaughter and looked forward to watching her learn and grow. Lydia's fondest memories are her "NiNi" and herself spending quality time together learning how to tie shoes or reading books. She had a calming sweet and empathetic personality and brought joy to whomever she encountered.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 15, 2022, at Oleander Memorial Gardens, where she will be beside her husband Donnie.
She loved animals and passed those characteristics to her daughters. She had a passion in particular for English bulldogs as she so loved her late English bulldog "Bronx". We request that in Leu of flowers, those who wish to do so make a donation to http://www.bullies2therescue.com as she so desperately wanted to save and love every dog there.
