Wauline was a resident of Springfield most her life. She belonged to Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a member of Daughters of the Union Civil War, Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of 1812, Daughters of the Magna Carta, and Daughters of the Union Auxiliary.
Wauline worked as an at home daycare and preschool teacher for over 30 years. She enjoyed studying about genealogy, loved to watch old movies, and playing the piano.
