Mr. Marks was a self employed plumber for 35 years.
An avid fisherman, he enjoyed breeding horses for harness racing.
He was a member of the Standard Bred Breeders and Owners Association
Survivors include four sons, Victor R. of Gloucester City, Samuel F. Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, Walter of Cochranville, PA and John of Bridgeton; a brother, Bob of Bridgeton; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30pm Friday, August 4th in the Freitag Funeral Home.
Cremation was in Laurel Lawn Crematory, Upper Deerfield Township.
Burial will be in Overlook Cemetery.
