Walter Cain was born in Baxley GA in 1882 to Alexander and Emma Jane Johnson Cain. On June 7, 1908 in Tatnall Co. GA he married Annie Alberta Davis, 1889-1979(?) and they had 5 daughters: Eula (1910- 1945), Tressie Mae (1911- 1981), twins Willie and Winnie (1913-), and Ruby (1916-1995). He and his family lived in several south Georgia and north Florida towns, and according to his death certificate, he was employed in the turpentine industry.
