Otis Allen Thompson
June 11, 1941 - April 8, 2022

Otis, age 80, went to his heavenly home on Friday, April 8, 2022. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and then supported his family working for Coastal Erection and 1st Choice Auto Auction. Otis enjoyed fishing, playing slot machines, along with being an avid collector of antiques. Mostly he loved celebrating with his family. Otis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Otis is survived by his daughters, Theresa Barbarick (Elmer), Alisa Zucker (Bill), Stacey Dupree (Scott), Cherri Miller (Randy); and sons. Duane Thompson, Terry Mobley (Lynda), Garry Mobley (Sandra); as well as 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Otis is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Jo (Brown)Thompson.

PONCHATOULA, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 1190 Hwy 51 North, Ponchatoula, on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 1:30 p.m.

Interment will follow in Sandhill Cemetery.
