J.R. Barronton, former resident of Cullman County, died at his home in Carollton, Ga. on April 21st after being ill for two years and suffering a stroke on March 17. Funeral services were conducted at Little Vine, in Georgia.
Surviving are his widow; five sons, B.W. Barronton, L.N. Barronton, W.L. Barronton, J.M. Barronton and J.T. Barronton; four daughters, Mrs. B.F. Bell, Mrs. G.L. McGinnis, Mrs. J.E. Waldrop and Miss Inez Barronton; twenty-seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
