CARROLLTON - Graveside services for Annie Laura Potter Watson of the Teoc Community will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Itta Bena Cemetery.

Mrs. Watson, 71, died of heart failure Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

A native of Leflore County, she was born on Dec. 30, 1936 to Walter J. and Laura Bradley Potter. She resided in the Teoc Community for the past 20 years.

A graduate of Greenwood High School, she was a retired instructor for the disabled with Allied Enterprises.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Watson; a granddaughter, Carli Walker; and two great-grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen W. Walker of Carrollton; a son, Charles J. Watson of Greenwood; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Harold Rose Potter; and a number of nieces.

The Rev. Gary Tanner will officiate at the services.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Nobles, Robert Nelson, Tommy Watson, Shannon Wiggins, Ricky Pugh, Willie Smith, Al Watson and Doyle Lee.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Allied Enterprises and Mrs. Watson's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon until 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home of Greenwood.
