Funeral services will be held Tuesday Mar. 1,2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Slater Funeral Home, Trenton. Rev. Steve Bramblett will officiate. The body will be cremated after the service.
Open visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home
Mrs. Ruth J. Boswell, was born January 08, 1935 in Advance, MO, the daughter of Harry and Bertha Baker Goza.
She attended Advance, Missouri Schools. She moved to Trenton in 1968 and worked for the Gable's supper club of Trenton.
On March 15, 1953 she was married to Marion W. Boswell, Sr.at Little Rock, Arkansas. He preceded her death on March 3.1999.
Her survivors include four daughters Aline Dixson of Kirksville, MO, Marcia Dixson of Kirksville, MO, Kathy Kuykendall of Nash, Oklahoma, and Wanda Pearman of Yukon, Oklahoma. Three sons Marion W. Boswell, Jr. of Trenton, MO, Joseph Boswell of Kirksville, MO, and Donnie Boswell of Trenton, MO, One sister Bessie Kirk of Sikeston, MO. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Harry Goza, her mother Bertha Goza, Two sisters Nadine McGee, and Rod Shelly and by two brothers Ed Goza and Tex Goza.
