MADILL -- Services for Clyde Houston Brown, 89, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999, at Watts Memorial Chapel with Eric Dennis officiating. Music arranged by Lea Ann Dennis. Interment will be at Enville Cemetery in Enville.

Brown was born Sept. 7, 1909, at Lebanon. He died Aug. 30, 1999, at the veterans center in Ardmore following several years of ill health.

Reared in Lebanon, he later moved to Kingston where he lived most of his life, then moved to the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Ardmore, living there the last 11 years of his life. Clyde was married to Grace Pershica on April 9.

He is survived by his wife, Grace, Kingston; sons, Clyde Brown Jr., Kingston, and Jackie Willis, Marietta; a daughter, LaWanna Clifton, Kingston; a sister, Winnie Bennett, Madill; three grandchildren, Regina, Gracelyn and Jackie Willis; and five great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be Harold O¹Steen, Jerry Coleman, Marvin Carroll, Jackie Willis, Robert Bennett and Shawn Finnerty.
