Richard Sherman "Dick" Lund age 91 of Cheboygan passed away April 5, 2022 at The Brook of Cheboygan, where he had been a resident since 2014. He was born August 22, 1930 in Petoskey to George and Ida (Mageau) Lund.

Dick was a Cheboygan resident nearly all his life. He attended Cheboygan Schools and graduated from Cheboygan High School in 1950. After graduation, he studied to be a draftsman. For the rest of his working life, he was involved in the automotive industry in production, engineering and machining. In 1955, Dick joined his three brothers as a partner in the family fabrication and machining business, J. B. Lund's Sons.

Richard is survived by his sisters, Margaret and Barbara; and his brother and business partner, Clayton "Lee" Lund. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Roy, Thelma, Eunice, Donna, Audrey, Charles, Eleanor and George.

Cremation arrangements are in care of the Beck Funeral Home. Per Dick's wishes, there will be a private service. Family would like to thank Hospice of Michigan for their help and compassion. Courtesy of Beck Funeral Home, Rogers City, Michigan.
