Aaron Glenn Ivie, son of the late Carlos Glenn Ivie and Bernice Marie (Campbell) Ivie was born June 14, 1952 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on November 9, 2019 at the age of 67 years. Aaron married Becky Downing on December 18, 1981.

Survivors include: His wife: Becky Ivie of Bragg City, Missouri; One brother: Keith Allen Ivie of Paradise, Texas; One sister: Deborah Ann Ivie Davis of Kennett, Missouri; Nieces: Kimberly Pickens and Deanna Brooks of Kennett, Missouri; Emily Downing of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Nephews: Grady Ivie of Paradise, Texas; Shane Duncan of Bolivar, Missouri; Joey Duncan of Bragg City, Missouri; Christopher Downing of Jefferson City, Missouri; Many great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.; Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Tom and Patty Duncan, Mike and Donna Downing and Danny Davis.

Aaron was of Bragg City, Missouri and passed away November 9, 2019 at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, Arkansas.

Aaron earned his pilot's license at age 18, and soon earned his commercial license. He then began crop dusting for his Uncle Jack Campbell for about ten years. He then went to work for Federal Crop Insurance for a few years until he became a program field supervisor and later became County Executive Director for the Dunklin County Farm Service Agency for a total of about thirty years.

Aaron served his community as secretary/treasurer for the Bragg City Community Alumni Club and the previous Bragg City Fire Department. He served as chairman for the budget and nominating committees and was a board member of the Black River Baptist Association. Aaron was saved and baptized into the membership of the Third Street Baptist Church and then became a member of First Baptist Church in Bragg City, Missouri where he served as deacon and as the church clerk. He enjoyed the outdoors and barbequing for his family and friends. Aaron very much loved his family, church, friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Bragg City, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Bragg City, Missouri. Reverend Kevin Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Joey Duncan, Shane Duncan, Ben Fuller, Cody Fuller, Terry Fuller, Bond Rouse, Tom Duncan and Ray Van Carver. Honorary pallbearers: T.J. Collins, Roger Tarver, Everett Marchbanks, Grady Ivie, Ricky Campbell, Johnny Campbell, David Campbell, Neal Campbell, Neal Pickens and Skip Tackeberry.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Bragg City, Missouri. McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
