Watkinsville - Dorothy Dottery, age 94, affectionately known to those who loved her as "Maw Maw," died January 11, 2010.

A native of Clarke County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Earl and Lottie Wallace Epps. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Mildred Shelton, Early Epps, Sam Epps, Charlie Epps, Oscar Earl Epps Jr., Betty Grace Epps, Ellis Eugene Epps and Mary Jo Bradberry.

She was a member of Princeton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Joan Johnson (Clint) of Watkinsville; granddaughter, Tracy Burger Smith (Barry) of Watkinsville; grandson, William Richard Burger of Watkinsville; grandchildren, Cassidy Smith and Madison Smith, both of Watkinsville; brother, Thomas Jerome Epps of Winterville; sister, Thelma Norman of High Shoals; five step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
