8 Jan 2008: Pauline "Polly" B. Kuntz, 81, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Willow Valley Retirement Community, Lancaster, PA, where she had been a resident for the past five years. Born in Palmyra, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva Blauch. Polly was the devoted wife of C. Kline Kuntz for 60 years. They lived in Hershey, PA for 53 years and served as deacons for 41 years at the Spring Creek Church of the Brethren. She was also very active in the church as a choir member, substitute organist and pianist, head of the kitchen, and costume designer for pageants. Her volunteerism extended beyond the church to Hershey Medical Center and Meals on Wheels. Additionally, she worked for Farmers Bank & Trust in Hummelstown and Hershey Chocolate Corporation. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by son Frederic K., husband of Ruth Kuntz of Alexandria VA; daughters Pamela K., wife of Robert J. Davis of Harrisburg; Susan K. wife of Terry J. White of Burke, VA; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister Mildred Dengler and a brother, Clair Blauch. Funeral Wednesday, January 9, at Lancaster Church of the Brethren, Lancaster. Interment Spring Creek Church Cemetery, Hershey. [Harrisburg Patriot-News]
