Lois Jean Passon, 88, died peacefully with her son and daughter-in-law by her side on Monday, June 3, 2013 after a long illness. She was born on June 1, 1925 in Flint, MI the last of six children to Rexford C Glover and Fleda B Mittan. Lois graduated fro Clio High School in Clio Michigan in 1942. Although she worked various jobs throughout her life she was primarily a stay-at-home mom caring for her family, which was priority one to her. In her later years she enjoyed a life of leisure in retirement in Peoria, AZ. She married Philip J Passion July 7, 1945 after his return from Naval duty in the Pacific at the end of WWII. She provided loving support and encouragement to Philip through his post war college years, his rise through General Motors (Chevrolet). and their leisure years. She dedicated herself to raising to sons. She was active in numerous charitable, civic, and social organizations everywhere she lived. She especially enjoyed the monthly gatherings of her high school friends called the Clio Potluck Gang. She was an avid golfer and card player, loved going to the casino and enjoyed hosting gatherings for friends and family in her home. She called Westbrook Village in Peoria, Az home in in her final years and treasured the friends she made there. A strong woman, she lived alone and maintained her home in Westbrook Village for 12 years until illness forced to to leave. She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband Phil, Brothers, Frank, Rex and Bob Glover and sister Orpha Brooks. Lois is survived by her sons and spouses 4 grandchildren and one great grandchild. a sister in Michigan, a sister in law in Canada and numerous nieces and nephews. Following cremation she will be interred next to her husband in the Columbarium at Congregational Church of Sun City, AZ. Memorial services to occur in Sun City, AZ and Michigan are pending. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice
