His father's obituary states that he was survived by a son, W.C.Ross of Oklahoma, this would be William Clinton.
Beth Richardson writes that none of the known descendants of the family have any knowledge of William Clinton's descendants today. He went to Oklahoma with a wife and three very young sons about 1932. (Actually, he died there
in 1932) Beth Richardson notes he had a son Dewey.
A letter from the Kiowa County Genealogical Society, Hobart, Oklahoma dated September 27, 1995 included an article for the Hobart Democrat Chief dated
Wednesday, July 27, 1932--front paged: "County farmer died suddenly, funeral to be held at Springhill. W.C. Ross, farmer, living near Saddle Mountain, died suddenly about 10 o'clock this morning. Mr. Ross had gone out to feed
his hogs. When he failed to return to the house, an investigation was made and his body was found in the feed lot.

He was 61 years of age and had been in failing health for some time. He is survived by his wife and one son.
Burial will be held Thursday afternoon in Springhill Cemetery, south of Cooperton with services at the graveside. The gish funeral home is in charge of arrangements." (The secretary added a note that his name is not in the cemetery register, hence there is no stone.)

The funeral home also had this information: W.C. Ross was born on September 26, 1870 in Texas. His father's name was William Ross, also born in Texas and his mother's maiden
name was Orr.
