Andrew Jackson Ramsey was the son of Joseph and Sarah (McBride) Ramsey. He was born in Pardee, Kansas and married Cherlena Watkins on 12 Oct 1893. One child, Watkins, was born to this union, he died at age 13 from causes unknown. Dr. Ramsey was buried near his wife's family in Sheridan Cemetery.
