He was a lifelong resident of Church Hill. Adam was a graduate of Volunteer Comprehensive High School in 2005. He was employed with Pave-Well Paving Company. Adam's true passion was cars and working on engines.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Amyx; a brother, Tony Martin and a niece, Megan Amyx.
Adam Amyx is survived by his parents, Jack & Phyllis Ray Amyx; his sisters, April Barnett & her husband, Josh (Jonesborough), Tamara Ford (Gray), Christina Fletcher & her husband, Adam (Kingsport) & Amber Wright (Morristown); his brothers, Jeff Amyx (Church Hill), Billy Amyx & his wife, Tara (Mount Carmel), Christopher Amyx, Eddie Russell & his wife, Kristi (Kingsport) & Tony Amyx (Kingsport); his special nephew, Hunter along with additional nieces and nephews, Rylee, Odin, Addysen, Kevin, Jessie, Devin, Taylor, Jake, Caitlyn, Colton, Darla & Tyler; his special friend, Brittany Duff.
