Stanley Alan Brown, 60, Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville.

The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Deacon Dominick Azzara officiating.

Internment services with full military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, Ky. Friends and family will meet at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. for the procession to the cemetery.

McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brown was born Jan. 8, 1947, in Aurora, Mo., to George and Sarah Ray Brown. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Mr. Brown was retired from the U.S. Army, where he attained the rank of CW3. He was also a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Survivors include his loving wife, Penelope Brown of Clarksville; his father, George Brown of Clarksville; a son, Michael Brown of Riverdale, Md.; a daughter, Trisha Farrell of LaVergne; two brothers, Dennis Brown of Knoxville, Ill., and Don Brown of Rogers, Ark; a sister, Sue Brown of Olatha, Kan.; two grandchildren, Brandon,6, of LaVergne, and Seamus, 7 months of Riverdale, Md.
