When Gordon was a year old, his family moved to the farm in Cherry Creek. He graduated from Malad High School in 1950 then attended Idaho State College in Pocatello for two years. Afterwards, he returned to Cherry Creek to farm with his father. He also worked at many jobs including the Sugar Factory in Garland, Moore's Business Forms in St George and served as a camp host at Great Basin National Park and Enterprise Campgrounds. He loved woodworking, camping, and target practicing. He also loved Stetson hats and cowboy boots. Gordon took meticulous care of everything he owned. Gordon married LeRoyce Elnor Terry, June 1, 1971 in Jackson, WY. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this year. Survivors beside his wife included: children: Nick Gugelman (LaReta), Wayne Gugelman (Brenda), JoAnn Nelson (Jedd) and Fred Gugelman. He is also survived by 3 nieces: Maxilyn Nicholson (Karl), Sondra Miller (Brent), Dana Winward (Rulon, deceased), as well as nephew Craig Daniels (Shauna). Graveside services entrusted to Horsley Funeral Home of Malad
