Janet J. Garlick, 81, a longtime Berkey, Ohio, resident passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, January 27, 1941, to parents Herman and Marguerite (Welch) Langenderfer. Janet served as an administrative assistant for more than 40 years with Jeep before retiring in 2001. The most important thing in her life was her family, Janet loved every second spent with them, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Heather (Brian) Addis and Nicole (Brian) Moran; sons Shane (Crystal), Heath (Missy), and Cory (Haley) Garlick; 19 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister Ann (Bob) Bigelow; Janet was preceded in death by her parents; Loving husband Larry Garlick; daughter Lisa Extine; granddaughter Cassandra Extine; sister Shirley Langenderfer; and brothers Herman, Donnell, and David Langenderfer.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, Ohio, Wednesday, March 30th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, where Scripture Services will begin at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, Swanton, Ohio, Thursday, March 31st at 11:00 AM, where family and friends may gather one-hour prior.
