Mr. Berton C. Adams, 63, of 2323 10th St. SW., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 15, in Middlebury Nursing Home after a long illness.
Born in Sunbury, Ohio, he had lived in Akron 35 years. He had worked for General Wrecking Co. and Firestone.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents Austin and Ella Adams; plus his son, Richard B. Adams. He leaves his wife, Gwynfa Jenkins Adams, whom he married in Summit County on Nov. 26, 1936; brothers, Ralph and Lloyd Adams, both of Columbus, and Walter Adams of Harrisburg, Ohio.
Services in Prentice Kenmore Funeral Home on Friday at 3 p.m. burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
