The body of Mrs Louisa Marian Cathey was sent to-day to Merced for burial. She died Wednesday at her home, after a residence of only a few months in this city. Mrs Cathey was a native of Kansas, aged 63 years. She was the widow of William P Cathey and leaves the following children: Mrs Merian M Bruce, Mrs Birdie Smith, Charles L Palmer, Andrew W, Mark and Curd N Cathey, and Mrs Mary Scott; Four sisters Mrs Annie Smith, Mrs William Dunning, Mrs Frank Clow, and Mrs I D Stockton, and two brothers William and N E Duncan survive her.
