Lois Genevieve (Grow) Gleason, age 86 of Cloquet, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, on her birthday at New Perspective Memory Care. Lois was born March 18, 1936, in Margie, MN, the daughter of William and Genevieve Grow. Lois graduated from Carlton High School. She was united in marriage to Richard P. Gleason on August 25, 1956, in Cloquet. Lois was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Carlton, and she worked at the Sam's Club in Hermantown along with her husband, Dick.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter Jean Marie; her first born son, Patrick; husband, Richard in 2005; and brother-in-law, Warren Kisling. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Deb) and Richard (Kathie); daughters, Deborah (Jer) Volkert and Carol (Jason) Hedtke; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; her sister, Frances Kisling; and also, the great clan of the Gleasons that Lois felt so involved in and treated her so great. It was a family of 11 children and many nieces and nephews. Thank you all.

Lois wants to thank all her children after Dick passed away, as they were always there for her. She couldn't have asked for greater support from her children. I pray that all the grandchildren will be thankful for their parents. God Bless! The family would like to extend their appreciation to the New Perspective caregivers and staff and a very special thank you to Kindred Care Hospice caregivers.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment with Dick will be held at New Calvary Cemetery, at a later date.
