Obituary for Lynn F. Eudy
Lynn Eudy, age 84, of Jonesboro, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Jonesboro Rehab.
He was born on December 10, 1937 to Clovis Pearl and Virgie Jewell (Cain) Eudy in Reynoldsville. Lynn married Janelle Cooley on December 2, 1959 and she survives.
Lynn grew up working as a farmer. He joined the Army after graduating high school, and serviced in the Army from 1956 to 1958. For over 30 years, Lynn enjoyed helping run the Union County Fair. He worked in the community until his retirement. Lynn loved being a grandpa, and spent his time after retirement helping to raise his grandchildren. He enjoyed attending local sporting events for decades. Lynn was baptized at a young age and a believer of Christ throughout his entire life.
Besides his wife, Janelle, he is survived by his two sons, Gregory Lynn Eudy and Michael and Gwen Eudy, both of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Madelynn Eudy of Cape Girardeau, Lindyn Eudy, Marin Eudy, Ridley Eudy, and Seren Eudy, all of Jonesboro; a great-grandchild, Silas Eudy of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Lyman Eudy; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ella Carlton and Janice Rhodes.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. Funeral service will be on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM . Interment will be at the Jonesboro Cemetery.
