Eva M. Overland of Ames died Tuesday at Story County Hospital in Nevada of complications of cancer. She was 74. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Stevens memorial Chapel here, with burial in Palestine Cemetery at Huxley.
Mrs. Overland, a retired nurse's aide for Mary Greeley Medical Center, was born in Bethel, Mo., and moved to Story County 55 years ago. She had been a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Don of Nevada and Don of Ames; a daughter, Mary Jo Shearer of Grove City, Ohio; a sister, Gladys Horner of Story City; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral chapel.
