Harold Lloyd Arrowood, 79, of Olive Hill, died Wednesday, May 23, at his home.
Mr. Arrowood was born Oct. 18, 1921, in Olive Hill, a son of the late Benjamin Harrison and Sarah Noma Daca Thompson Arrowood.
His first wife, Opal Cline Arrowood, died in 1989.
He was retired from General Refractories, a Navy veteran and a member and deacon of Dry Branch Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, Earlene Thornsberry Arrowood; two sons, Bill Arrowood and Phillip Arrowood, both of Olive Hill; two stepsons, Anthony Blair and Randy Blair, both of West Liberty; two sisters, Dorothy Hurst of New Castle, Ind., and Arthana Keaton of Olive Hill; a brother, Farrell Arrowood of Hurricane, W.Va.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill by Gayle Price and Elmer Logan Jr. Burial was in Thompson Cemeterry.
