Fred Todhunter, 72, of 1337 Canfield Avenue, died at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Glenn Haven Nursing Home after an illness of several years.
Born in Highland County, he was the son of Abner Todhunter and Emeline Johnson Todhunter.
He had resided in Dayton, Ohio about seven years.
He had been an insurance inspector for the Farm Bureau and Prudential companies in a number of Ohio cities and had been employed as an office worker at Wright-Patterson Air Force base from 1942 to 1947.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. (Mayme) Gutherie in 1938.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Lloyd Dalryumple (Betty Jane Todhunter) of the Canfield Avenue address, with whom he made his home, and Mrs. Robert Edward Hanna Jr. (Mary E. Todhunter) of Demarest, New Jersey; two sisters. Mrs. Minnie Ladd of Washington C. H. and Mrs. Imogene Bush of Middletown; a brother, Granville M. of Oakland, California and two grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Friday at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home, Washington C. H by the Rev. E. J. A. St. Louis.
Bureau will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Leesburg, Ohio .
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday.
