George Leslie "Buddy" Melvin Jr., 77, of White Lake passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Ivery Lee Melvin, son William "Petey" Melvin, and grandson Jeff Melvin.

Buddy leaves behind his loving spouse Bonnie; children Michelle Faircloth, Susie Carter and husband Billy, Crystal Melvin, April LeCompte and husband Ryan, Brandi Melvin, George Melvin; stepdaughter Paula and stepson Paul; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister Tammy Jones and husband Glenn, sister Lisa Russ, niece Bessie Everitte and husband James; and his special loving fur baby Sparky; whom he loved dearly.

He was loved by many and he will be greatly missed.
