Edwin "Butch" Lee Million, 77, of Kokomo, formerly of Walton and Lake Cicott, passed away at 5:45 pm Friday, March 18, 2022, at North Woods Village Nursing Home surrounded by his family. He was born May 5, 1944, in Logansport, IN, the only son of Carl B. and Elizabeth Lenor (Masten) Million. On November 20, 1971, he married Sharon (Cain) Million, and she survives.

Edwin was a 1962 graduate of Royal Center High School. He served his community as a Benton County conservation officer, Logansport City Policeman, and a Cass County Deputy Sheriff for several years before joining Verizon Inc. where he would worked for 30 years until his retirement. In addition to employment, he served on a number of boards and councils, was an avid supporter of the NRA, and forever loved his lifelong memories of hunting, fishing, and passion for firearms, including the countless visits to a number of gun ranges to practice his marksmanship. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Kokomo for the past ten years. His greatest battle began in 2014, when inflicted with the debilitating Parkinson's Disease, which he fought to the very end. Above all his life's passions, he undeniably loved and lived for his family. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and stable force within his family.

Along with his wife of 50 years Sharon, Edwin is survived by his children, Stacey L. Million of Kokomo and Brett (Teresa) Cain of Russiaville; 2 granddaughters, Breanne (Matt) Walker of Big Sky, MT, and Lauren Cain of Fishers; a great-grandson, Jackson Brett Walker; sister, Karen Roller of Logansport; sister and brother-in-law, Christina and J.T. Hubenthal of Logansport; and very special friends, Steve and Carol Rosentreter of Loudon, TN.

Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Meredith and Pauline Slusher; sister, Sharon Million Barr, sister, Norma (Robert) Foster; brother-in-law, Ronald Foster, and Jerry Roller Sr., and great niece and nephew, Angela Roller and Ryan Hubenthal.

The family would like to give special thanks and appreciation to the North Woods Village staff in Kokomo, with endearing gratitude to Lisa, Liz, Angie, Courtney, Tanya, and Catina.
