Mary Margaret (Marg) Morlen, 94, Floyds Knobs, died Saturday morning, Dec. 29, 2007, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.

Born Jan. 17, 1913, in New Albany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Fetter Renn.

She was a 1930 graduate of New Albany High School and the New Albany Business College, a retired employee of Vuncan Hart Corp. after 57 years as an accounting-credit manager and executive secretary, was a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Albany, where she volunteered, the Ladies Altar Society, Daughters of Isabella, the New Albany Pilot Club, where she held various positions, and a member of AARP.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel A. Morlen, and two brothers, Robert and Louis Renn.

Survivors include a nephew.

Funeral Mass: Monday, Dec. 31, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, both in New Albany.

The family suggests memorial gifts to Providence Retirement Home or St. Mary's Catholic Church.
