Deaconess in the Episcopal Church, Member of DAR & Mayflower Society. She was also a fabulous genealogist, tracing the family back to Edward Fuller of the Mayflower as well as to Lady Godiva - and all done by hand and painful research, long before the computer existed. Ruth also hand made a long, beautiful patriotic dress in 1976 to celebrate the 200th birthday of the nation.
It was her wish to have half her ashes put in the family cemetery at the cabin in Hubbard Lake, and half her ashes put in the family plot in Eagle, Michigan. Her wishes were granted.
Lineage goes back to Edward Fuller of the Mayflower through her father.
