Edward G. Bautista, age 73, of San Antonio passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022.
Edward proudly served in the U.S. Army and had qualifications in Special Forces (Green Berets), and Airborne.
He worked in the healthcare field as a Respiratory Care Technician, then transitioned into the Biomedical Department. He worked at the Methodist Healthcare System from May 1975 to January 2012. He also worked full time at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital from October 28, 1985 to December 31, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Velia and Juan Bautista; and his nephew, Adan Bosquez.
Mr. Bautista is survived by his wife of 50 years, children, ; grandchildren, sister, other relatives and many friend..
FUNERAL SERVICES
Visitation will begin on Monday, April 11, at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, April 12, at 9:30 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association
