Mrs. D W Roe died at the home of her son, Frank Roe, near Alvin, Sept. 21, at the age of 85 years. She was converted when a child and lived a true Christian life in the home and in the community in which she lived, always looking after the wants and needs of her husband and children. She was a loving and true wife, a dear mother and a good neighbor, always ready and willing to do good. She leaves to mourn her loss seven children, James of Armstrong, Frank of Alvin, Flynn of East Lynn, Robert of Rossville and Mrs. Ida Reynolds of Attica, IN. She also leaves seventeen grandchildren and fifteen g-grandchildren.

Daniel Roe her husband has an inscription on his marker that indicates she is buried there with him but it was not updated at her death. Death certificate confirms she is buried at Partlow.
