Eva Louise Garrett Brooks, 49, of London Kentucky passed away on March 10, 2011 at her home after a battle with cancer.

Eva was born on May 27, 1961 to Mary and George Garrett.

She married John Wayne Brooks on September 13, 1980. They were married for thirty years at the time of her passing. Their first child Johnny Wayne Brooks was born in 1980. A daughter, Amanda Faye Brooks was born in 1985

Eva had worked as a cashier in a gas station, janitor for a church, and a stay at home mom and wife.

Her interests included reading books, drawing, doing puzzles, gardening, and caring for her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister; Beverly Garrett.

She is survived by her husband John, son Johnny and wife Cherish, grandchildren Adrian & Madison Brooks, daughter Amanda and husband Eric, grandchild Aaron Wagers, sisters Paula Abney, Ruthy Lacy, and Dianne Billings, brothers James Garrett, Ellis Garrett, and Gary Garrett, a half brother David Kissick, a half sister Crystal Garrett.

She is also survived by siblings from her second family, Agnes Sizemore, Lottie Mullins, Robin Carpenter, Sonny Carpenter and Ricky Carpenter.
