Albert Ray Brandenberger passed away on March 12, 2022, in Denton, Texas. He was born in Denton, Texas on June 23, 1937, to Albert and Anna Brandenberger. He married Bettie Rue on June 10, 1960. They enjoyed 61 years together. Ray enjoyed hunting with his friends and professor Calhoun.
He worked for Rummell Oil Company for most of his professional life. He also was a farmer and rancher his entire life and loved the outdoors.
Ray was very active in his church and served on several committees.
He is survived by his wife, Bettie, sister-in-law Linda Brandenberger of Ada, OK, nieces Tami Brandenberger (Linda) of Austin, Texas and Sausley Kraft (Jeremy) of Ada, OK, nephew Samuel Brehens (Sabrina) of Richmond, Texas and his four-legged companion Rylee.
Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at Blue Mound United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
