On the 25th of September, 1900, Alice married William Greenberry Vineyard/Vinyard in Delta County, Texas. Their three oldest children, daughters Willie L, and twins Cora and Ora were born in Texas and somtime after the twins birth in April of 1905, they moved to Pushmataha County, Oklahoma, the Belzoni Community and the last of their children, son Escar Allen, was born in 1908. Unfortunately, Alice had been suffering from Consumption for some time, and finally perished from the disease, on Sunday, August 22, 1909. She was buried in Union Grove, now Belzoni Cemetery.

Mrs Alice Vinyard, wife of W G Vinyard died on Sunday last at 1:30 p.m. of Consumption, at her late residence at Belzoni. She has been lingering some time with consumption but was not really confined to her room until last May. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn her loss, the oldest being but 8 years old. The deceased was a member of the Baptist Church. She came here with her husband from Texas about four years ago and has been living at Belzoni ever since. Her funeral took place on Monday afternoon and she was interred in Union Grove.
