Jacksonville - Memorial services for Mrs. Mabelle "Peg" Pleasants, 89, of Jacksonville, will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at K.L. Brown Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pleasants died Friday at Jacksonville Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, retired Lt. Col. Katherine Pleasants of Jacksonville; a son, Barron Pleasants of Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Mrs. Telva Alexander of Webster City, Iowa; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pleasants was a Calhoun County resident. She was a nurse and received her training at Mattoon Memorial Hospital in Illinois.
