Son of Early Allison & Louisa A. Pickens Kemp; husband of Effie Estelle Turner Kemp.

Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen K. Foxworth (later Metts) of Powder Springs and Mrs. Betty Abernathy of Marietta; two sons, Mr. Earl W. Kemp of Atlanta and Mr. Joseph H. Kemp of Powder Springs; five grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. J.J. Warren of Powder Springs; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Thursday, February 8, 1962, Midway Presbyterian Church.

Burial: Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery

As was still the custom of the day, his remains were returned to the family home for visitation until the time of the funeral.
