Larry Bryan Lathem, lived throughout the United States and SE Asia during his career with the Army. He also lived on the small island of Okinawa twice. He survived two tours in the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valour.
He was an avid fan of sports car racing. Over the years he had driven and owned several sought after sports cars. His two favorites being the Jaguar XK-120 and Bugeye Sprite.
Larry is survived by his wife Deborah Lathem and son Craig Lathem.
There was a closed casket ceremony at the Springfield Veterans Cemetery on Monday, March 14th.
