Mrs. Anna E. Bowen, of 2641 Copley Rd., died Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the home of a daughter, Mrs. J. Benson Collins of 380 S. Portage Path, Akron, after a long illness.

Born in Persinger, West Virginia, Mrs. Bowen lived in the Akron vicinity for 40 years. She worked as a saleslady for six years for M. O'Neil Co.

She is survived by her husband, Frank H. Bowen; Aubrey Williams of New Orleans, LA; another daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Bauer of Medina; three sisters, Mrs. J.E. Bowen of Akron, Mrs. Rosa Tyree of Minneapolis, MN and Mrs. E.F. Hudspeth of Little America, WY; plus seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Services in Long Funeral Home on Friday at 3 p.m. with interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
